How Often Do I Need To Exercise?

Dear Justine: I’ve made a resolution to get in shape, but how often do I actually need to work out to see results?

Dear Cofused,
Aim to workout 3x/week minimum.  If you can do more, great!  I’d say 5-6 days/week is the max you would want to work out.  Always let your body rest for at least 1 day to recover.  If you can only workout 3x/week, be sure to do strength training AND cardio on those days.  A circuit-training workout, like what we offer at Ladies Workout Express, is great because you achieve both in only 30 minutes!  Plus, you can burn 400-600+ calories per workout!
